As 2024 comes to a close, we at Chaplains and Heroes reflect on the incredible journey we’ve had together. Every prayer, every donation, and every word of encouragement has made a tangible impact in the lives of law enforcement professionals and their families. Without you, none of this would be possible, and we are deeply grateful for your partnership in this vital mission
2024 in Review: A Year of Expansion and Transformation
This year, Chaplains & Heroes expanded its reach in extraordinary ways, connecting with over 3,600 law enforcement professionals across the United States and internationally. Our mission to support the emotional, spiritual, and practical needs of law enforcement professionals and their families has never been more vital.
Highlights from 2024
Launching our Website In March 2024, we launched the Chaplains & Heroes website, a centralized hub of vetted, culturally competent resources for law enforcement professionals, their families, and chaplains. It offers essential tools for spiritual support, peer support development, and guidance for new and experienced chaplains while mobilizing churches to engage and support law enforcement effectively. Within months, the site gained nationwide traction as a trusted resource for agencies and law enforcement professionals alike
Franklin County Sheriff’s Office Endorsement: In April, Sheriff Dallas Baldwin of the FCSO in Columbus Ohio, officially endorsed Chaplains & Heroes as a resource within the department. This milestone led to our website becoming a primary resource for all cadets at the FCSO Training Academy. With over 980 deputies and 1,500 civilians, this endorsement significantly increased our impact.
National Conferences and Speaking Engagements: At the PLECET Conference in Atlanta, we addressed over 800 attendees, sharing practical tools for faith-based community engagement. We also spoke at the Mission Increase National Networking Conference, where we introduced strategies for churches to support first responders.
Podcast Outreach: Chaplain Christi Hall was featured on a podcast hosted by Sgt. Kevin Martinez, discussing the critical role of chaplaincy in law enforcement and the resources Chaplains & Heroes provides.
980 Bags of Encouragement:
In partnership with Covenant Church, we packed and distributed 980 bags of encouragement to law enforcement officers. Each bag symbolized our unwavering support and appreciation for their dedication.
Transforming Lives:
A deputy, initially on the brink of divorce, found hope and reconciliation through the resources provided on our website. After attending a marriage retreat, he rededicated his life to Christ, and he and his wife are now working to rebuild their marriage. Stories like this are a testament to the power of connection and faith.
Recognition from WMU and NAMB:
Being selected as a “Christmas in August” missionary by the Women’s Missionary Union and our founder featured in the North American Mission Board’s Prayer Calendar for 2025 highlighted the broader recognition of our impact.
In 2024, Chaplains & Heroes didn't just reach numbers—we reached lives, like the deputy who, on the verge of divorce, found hope and reconciliation through our resources, rededicating his life to Christ and starting a new chapter with his wife. These are the moments that fuel us, reminding us why we do this work.
Crafting Our Brand Identity
Our new logo and brand identity, carefully crafted by Jessi Carrillo at Waiive Marketing, represent more than just a fresh look—they symbolize our commitment to serving you, the law enforcement professionals and families we stand beside every day. This redesign reflects the growth and transformation we’ve experienced and the stronger, more connected community we’re becoming
Looking Ahead to 2025
Our vision remains steadfast as we prepare for the new year: to provide a centralized culturally competent resource hub and hope for the 800,000 officers nationwide and their families. Here’s a glimpse of what’s ahead:
National Events: We’re excited to participate in the PLECET Conference in Chicago, the Southern Baptist Annual Meeting in Dallas, and the Serving Heroes National Law Enforcement Training in Kansas.
Website Redesign: A major goal for 2025 is to make our website even more accessible and impactful, offering enhanced resources for chaplains, officers, and community partners.
Expanding Support Networks: By mobilizing more churches and businesses, we aim to provide holistic support to law enforcement officers, addressing both their mental and spiritual needs. Be the Change They Need
As we move into 2025, we ask for your continued partnership. Your prayers, your donations, and your time help us provide hope and support for the 800,000 officers and their families nationwide.
